To our supporters:
Your generous commitment to Cows ‘n Cabs inspires us every year to make the event bigger and better with more impactful ways to give back to our communities. As much as it saddens us to make this announcement, we must cancel this year’s 9th annual Cows ‘n Cabs. We did not reach this decision easily, and believe me I know how much you’ll miss our late-night sighting on stage or having your picture taken with a giant bull statue, but health and safety has to come first.
Unfortunately, our COVID crystal ball is terrible with predictions and we must assume the pandemic will be a serious factor. It would not be fair to ask the great restaurants and wine, spirits, cigar and beer suppliers to participate, and of course we cannot risk being a huge group together during a health crisis.
We plan to be back stronger than ever in the fall of 2021, with many of the same commitments from our excellent partners.
With your support, we have been able to give almost $1 million to local charities over the years. Sadly, we’re not the only ones to cancel charity events. Financial support has plummeted so please consider a donation to these charities who have benefited from Cows ‘n Cabs in the past:
We would also like to give a shout out to every restaurant that has supported our event and these charities for many years. Restaurants and their staffs have suffered in severe ways because of the pandemic, so we encourage all of you to think of these outstanding restaurants the next time you’re going out to eat, or ordering food for curbside or delivery.
